| Note 1 | This XUB version is early enough not to support 'hi-speed' mode, a mode introduced as an option in the second revision of the XT-IDE card. • Suitable for the 'XT-IDE Rev 1' (and clones of Rev 1). • If your card has 'compatibility/hi-speed' jumpers, set those jumpers to the 'compatibility' setting (i.e. compatible with Rev 1). • Most modern variants of the XT-IDE card are hardwired for 'hi-speed' mode. If desired, see here for more information about hi-speed mode. |
| Note 2 | This is a modified R566, produced for the Lo-tech XT-CF-lite rev.2 If desired, it can be downloaded from the Lo-tech web page at here. According to the web page, at least one modification was to turn off 'late initialisation'. At here is, "I find R601 to have solved many of the problems I was having over R566 from the Lo-Tech website.". R566 is very old, and you really should upgrade it to a recent version. |
